Siago Shorts Bot

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Siago Shorts Bot (“the App”, “we”), operated by Siago, collects, uses, stores and deletes information, including information received from Google APIs. The App is a private, internal tool: only members of the Siago team can sign in, and it is used to publish videos to Siago’s own YouTube channel.

1. YouTube API Services

The App uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to the connected YouTube channel and to display the name of that channel. By connecting a YouTube account you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Information we access from Google

When the channel owner connects a YouTube account, the App requests only these permissions (OAuth scopes):

ScopeWhat we accessWhy
youtube.uploadPermission to upload videosTo publish video drafts that a team member has manually approved, with the title, description, tags and schedule shown in the dashboard.
youtube.readonlyChannel ID, channel title and channel thumbnailTo show in the dashboard which channel is connected, so videos are not uploaded to the wrong channel.

We also receive an OAuth access token and refresh token from Google, which allow the App to perform the actions above without asking the owner to sign in again. We do not access your email address, contacts, other videos, comments, playlists, subscriptions, analytics, or any other Google account data.

3. How we use Google user data

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, selling, or training artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Limited Use. Siago Shorts Bot’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share or transfer Google user data (tokens or channel information) to any third party. It is used only by the App on our own server. The only exception would be if we are required to do so by law.

To help produce videos, the App uses third-party services for content that is not Google user data: a web-data provider (Apify) to find publicly available short videos by hashtag, and an AI provider (Anthropic) to help select and label clips and to draft video titles and descriptions. These services never receive your Google tokens or channel information.

5. Storage and security

6. Retention and deletion

Videos that have already been uploaded to YouTube remain on YouTube and can be managed or deleted in YouTube Studio.

7. Creators of featured clips

Our videos feature short clips from public social-media posts with on-screen credit to the original creator. We store the public post URL, creator handle and public statistics (such as view counts) to give credit and to avoid reusing clips. If you are a creator and want your clip removed or credited differently, email ordeoid@gmail.com with the link and we will act promptly.

8. Cookies

The App sets a single, essential session cookie to keep team members signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

The App is an internal tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes affecting Google user data will be reflected here before they take effect.
